Michael Todd True Organic Pumpkin Mask Review

Michael Todd's True Organics Pumpkin Facial Mask!

So I received this product in an Ipsy (monthly subscription) bag. At first I was a little weirded out by the texture of this mask because it looks exactly like pumpkin baby food. It also smells like fresh pumpkin which was expected by the name.

When I first put this mask on, it immediately started to burn, not in a super painful way but still a slight burn none the less. While my face was slightly on fire, I decided to look up what was going on.

As it turns out, the burning feeling was the pumpkin enzyme combining with the glycolic acid in the mask causing a glycolic acid peel and exfoliating the crap out of my face, literally.

I figured that was enough explanation for me to keep it on my face, plus a little burn makes me feel like its working.

After about 5 minutes the mask started to dry up indicating that it was time to wash it off.

Pros
The first thing I noticed was how amazingly clean my skin felt afterward, almost so clean it was squeaky. My pores seemed to have shrunken and my face just over all felt a little brighter! As for the burning, it subsided as the mask started to dry and wasn't uncomfortable at all.

Cons
If you're not a pumpkin lover this product isn't for you as the pumpkin smell can be a little strong.

Price: $34.00 for 3.4 fl oz
