November 2014 Ipsy Unboxing!

Hey everyone!

Its time for another Ipsy Unboxing!

I received my November Ipsy bag a little later this month so I'm really sorry about the late post!

If you haven't heard of Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag that has 4-5 products inside (a mix of full size and luxury sample sizes). It costs roughly $15 a month(for Canadians, $10 if you're in the US) and is delivered to your door.

This months bag was themed "Girl Meets Glitter".

I really like this months bag! It's sparkly all over and has a hot pink zipper which I think is really cute!
But seriously, when is anything covered in sparkles not cute?

Once I opened the bag I noticed It also has a label inside that says "Forever 21 Cosmetics for Ipsy" which is different! I love when Ipsy has feature bags!

Let's see what was inside!

Be a Bombshell - Eye base in the shade Submissive

I'm really excited to use this gorgeous copper-gold colour!
Eye base, for those of you who maybe haven't seen this before is just a cream eyeshadow that also acts as an eyelid primer to help your shadow last longer! The benefit to using a coloured eye base is that you don't have to worry about applying a primer and then an all over lid colour because this acts as both! This is full size and retails for $14.

Forever 21 - Love & Beauty Creme Lipstick in the shade Berry

I know a lot of people were disappointed to be getting another red/berry coloured lipstick in their Ipsy bags this month but I really can't complain because I genuinely love all berry coloured lipsticks! I really haven't tried ANY cosmetics from forever 21 so I'm pretty curious to see how the quality will be! This is also full size and retails for $4.80.

Starlooks - Gem Eye Pencil in the shade Ultra Orchid

So happy to see this in my bag! I've gotten "Starlooks" products before in previous Ipsy bags and have been really impressed with the quality so far! This soft pencil can be used as either an eyeliner or all over the lid as an eyeshadow base! The colour Ultra Orchid is an awesome looking metallic purple with micro sparkles throughout it. I'm in LOVEEEEEE. This is also full size and retails for $17

Temptu S/B Highlighter in Pink Pearl

I've actually heard really great things about this liquid highlighter and I'm excited to see how well it actually works.
The sample size is really small but according to the directions you only need 2 drops to highlight both your cheek bones so this should last quite a while.
1oz is $27.50, I received .1oz which works out to about $2.75

Marc Anthony Oil of Morocco Argan Oil Hairspray

This is the item I'm the least excited about. Every so often Ipsy throws in a small bottle of hairspray! Last time it was Big Sexy Hair and this time it's Marc Anthony. Both are decent brands however,  I'm kinda over it. On the bright side they are handy for keeping in the bottom of your purse for flyaway emergencies.
I received the travel size which retails for $2.99

That's it!
I absolutely loved this months bag! 3/5 full sized items is awesome and I will absolutely get full use out of all of them!

The Total Value of this bag is $41.54

Honestly, out of all the subscription boxes I've seen Ipsy still seems to be the best and is a really good way to start trying new things but not break the bank doing it!

Thanks for reading!
