January 2015 Ipsy Unboxing!

Hey guys!

Hope 2015 is going awesome for all of you!

It's time for the first Ipsy bag unboxing of this year! I've been subscribed to Ipsy since May 2013 and a lot of the brands and products are getting repetitive.

I'm thinking about possibly switching to Birchbox! Any thoughts on that?!

Lets see what January's bag has to offer!

This months Ipsy theme is "Fresh Start" which makes sense. The bag itself is pretty cool. It's Blue on one side and White on the other and a really pretty Peach colour inside.

Inside I found,

Costal Scents Liquid Eyeliner

This is probably my most favourite item in this months bag! This eyeliner is really black, stayed on all day(Through school and work) and has a really to use felt tip applicator. Total win with this one Ipsy! Retails for $2.95

Elizabeth Mott Eyeshadow Brush

I'm always happy to get brushes! This one is really soft and it's pink so this one is an automatic YES.
Retails for $10

La Fresh Eco Beauty Moisturizer

So I tested this stuff out this morning and it feels really nice on the skin! It has a really light cucumber scent which is nice. I did receive La Fresh makeup wipes in a previous bag and they were amazing so I really have high hopes for this moisturizer! The full size is $40 but you can purchase these little sample sized packets.
Retails for $14

Pacifica Natural Mineral Eyeshadow

So you guys might remember the Pacifica eyeshadow duo from the May 2014 bag. This is pretty much the same shitty eyeshadow but a single instead of two halves. I know I've said this before but I really don't like Pacifica. The colour is actually kind of cool looking as it has an iridescent type glow but of course this fades really fast. The consistency is really chalky and goes on chunky so this one is a no go for me.
$3.50 value

Probell "In the Blue" Nail Polish

Ipsy! Stop trying to make blue nail polish happen. I'm not a fan of blue nail polish, I've liked it on other people but for some reason once I put it on I feel like an 80's street walker. This shade isn't as bad and to be honest throughout the day it really grew on me so this one wasn't a total fail.
Retails for $6

Total Value: $33.50

This month, I redeemed a few Ipsy points for a sample of Benefit's Fake up concealer. The sample was a lot smaller then I thought it would be but really I can't complain since it was free! I've only tried it once so far and it's not bad! It didn't seem to crease and was very hydrating like it promised but It was a tad too light for my skin tone so it looked a little weird.

That's it for this month!

Also, I have a referral code HERE that I keep forgetting to link in case you're looking to sign up and feel like throwing the points my way! ;)

Thanks for reading!
